My amiibo Collection (Lucas, Roy, Ryu 'n' R.O.B.!)

Some people have those sorts of pics that they update to include new or changed things to said pic. Here's mine: It'll be updated every time I get a new amiibo and so fourth.

Unlike some collectors, I don't intend on getting them all - just getting the ones I like or are somewhat interested in.

11/3/2015: Bowser obtained. Yeah, that's a 1-up Mushroom and Spycrab plush you see.
21/3/2015: Acquired the Mario series versions of Luigi, Yoshi and Mario.
31/3/2015: Acquired Sonic. Woohoo!
12/4/2015: Acquired Toad. HALLOW!!!
13/4/2015: Acquired Mega Man... THE SOOPUH FOITIN' ROWBUTT. I rearranged the amiibo pile as it's getting too wide for my drawer. Fox is at the front in the middle since he's quite special to me.
26/4/2015: Acquired Pac-Man, Ness and Wario. I WOULD'VE gotten them the day before as they were promised to come out on the 25th, but NOOOOOOOO, it had to be a public and thus the shops are cloooooosed. Many Aussies got their amiibo already before me, according to some Tweets I saw. >_>
10/5/2015: Acquired Meta Knight and Ike.
Update 15/5/2015: Acquired Charizard. Yea-yuh! With Greninja and Jigglypuff on the way (as well as Mewtwo since Australia is accepting pre-orders of him and Lucas for whatever reason), I hope there'll be a restock of Lucario soon... wanna complete 'dat Pokémon collection! Also moved some stuff out of the way to make more room on my drawer and arranged some characters into their own spots.
30/5/2015: Acquired the Splatoon Triple Pack, Greninja, Jigglypuff and Silver Mario. Woooooooowee! I'm gonna need to bring my A-game if I'm to get a Gold Mario in late June... I'm at dad's right now so when I get home, I'll have these put alongside the rest of my collection. For now, enjoy them here on their own. I tore the silver tape stuff off the bottom of the Splatoon pack so I can scan them in while they're still in the box. The box itself is sexy. .w.
10/6/2015: Acquired Captain Falcon, Little Mac and Villager. Booyah!
25/6/2015: Acquired Yarn Yoshi (didn't get the game, I got it for Smash and other games only) and, wait for it... GOLD MARIO. Booyaaaaaaah.
3/7/2015: Acquired Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina and Lucario - Pokémon reps complete! (until Mewtwo) 3 rare ones and two of them being female reps for my collection! Can't have just Inkling Girl and Jigglypuff as the only gals around.
4/7/2015: Acquired the entirety of Super Smash Bros. 4's Wave 5! Also known as Wave 5A or 6... I don't know and I don't care. I'm calling the next one 6. Anyway... this wave consists of Dark Pit, Palutena, Ganondorf and Zero Suit Samus. Christ, I gotta open these boxes, but many of the boxes are so sexy and protect the amiibo from dust! I really don't wanna be one of those guys who gets amiibo just to keep them in the box.
7/7/2015: Acquired Pit and Toon Link - Kid Icarus reps complete! God bless you, restocks! I'm getting one step closer to getting all I'm interested in with the Smash collection... and then my wallet can have the rest it deserves.
8/7/2015: Acquired King Dedede - Kirby reps complete! With many of these amiibo still in their boxes (maybe I'll keep the rare ones boxed for as long as I feel like it), they're really taking up space on my drawer - there's a few you can't see with others in the way. I need more room, and something to protect the unboxed ones from dust.
18/7/2015: Acquired Shulk, Robin and Lucina - Fire Emblem reps complete! ...until Roy's release. After being bored with the Splatoon triple pack box and it taking up a lot of space, I took the 3 cute little squids out.
23/7/2015: Acquired the second half of Wave 5! Or is it Wave 6? Why are waves so confusing in certain regions? Sheesh!
1/8/2015: Acquired Zelda and Sheik. Legend of Zelda reps complete! They're not seen since there's no room to put all the boxed amiibo. Gotten these like a week or so ago and was too lazy to update this until now.
???/8/2015: Acquired Samus. Metroid reps complete!
2/9/2015: Acquired Diddy Kong and the original November 2014 launch version of Villager. Sorry I haven't been updating the photo lately, there's just no more room left - my uncle is building me a display cabinet.
12/9/2015: Acquired 8-Bit Mario, Classic Colours variant. FINALLY updated the photo, including it, Diddy Kong and the original print Villager. This is probably one of my most favourite amiibo to date - a wonderful recreation of Mario's 8-Bit sprite from Super Mario Bros. 1. It's rad when viewing it from the side, it still looks like the original sprite! I may have said this already, but you don't see certain amiibo like Dr. Mario and Shulk because there's no room left on my drawer. Still waiting on that cabinet...
26/9/2015: Acquired the two trios - Retro, consisting of Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B. and Duck Hunt Duo, and Mii, consisting of the Brawler, Sword Fighter and Gunner. Like my May 30th haul, this is my biggest haul yet. 6 of the damn things in my collection! For the umpteenth time, I can't have the new ones shown alongside my whole collection as there's just no room, which sucks the big one. Where's my cabinet, uncle?
24/10/2015: Jeez, it felt like yesterday when I got the two trios... time really flew this October. I CANNOT STACK BEYOND 3 AMIIBO, DAMMIT, I WANT THAT CABINET NOW.
21/11/2015: Star Fox Zero got delayed, but not the Falco amiibo which was going to release alongside it...Nintendo had a big potential there, but nope, delay. At least the game'll be more polished. Sorry I haven't updated this in weeks, I did take the pic on the day I got Falco, but I got so lazy.
1/1/2016: At long last...I FINALLY received my cabinet and had it put into place. as I've said in previous updates, my uncle built this. He said something about it costing over a thousand dollars if it were to be sold to someone. Sorry I took nearly a month to update this, laziness struck again. And I did take the photo on New Year's Day, the day we got it moved in.
30/1/2016: Acquired Lucas. It's cool he came back in SSB4, but that also left potential open for Ninten from EarthBound Beginnings (Mother 1) to join alongside Ness and Lucas since his game was released to the West. Ah well.
26/3/2016: Acquired Roy, Ryu and R.O.B. (Famicom Colours). Very clever of Nintendo to provide fans with the opposite version of R.O.B., I really didn't want to have to do that online ordering garbage like I did with some of my earlier amiibos.


amiibo collected in order...
- During one day looking all around EB Games like I always do, I found this. It was literally like the last amiibo in store at the time! Thinking that I would never see one in person again (except for my brother's DK), I went ahead and got this.
(Japanese) - Ordered on eBay. He's awesome. 'Nuff said. Can't wait to use him in Star Fox Wii U as it was confirmed to have amiibo support.
& - One night I heard that Nintendo of Australia was bringing in amiibo from around the world as stocks were (obviously) scarce. The next day I rung up EB Games and they said they only had a couple of Link and Pikachu amiibo left, so I shrugged and got the two. Funny thing is that weeks beforehand, I saw my brother searching online for a Link amiibo. Sucks for him, ha!
& (Both Japanese) - Yeah, that's right... I have Marth, one of the rare ones. Another ring up on EB Games... they said they had Pikachu, DK, Link, Kirby and Marth in stock. However, the guy who talked to me said that there was only 1 Marth amiibo left, so he reserved that Marth and a Kirby for me and I got them the next day! The amiibo I saw that day were in Japanese packaging, which shows that amiibo importing tactic has been put into action.
- Like Marth and Kirby, I rung up EB Games and was informed Bowser was in stock, then got him the next day. (SOLD)
,& (Super Mario series) - Received on launch day. Luigi and Yoshi were the pre-ordered ones. When the wave launched, I just got Mario as I was receiving my paid-off Luigi and Yoshi. Mario's one of those like Bowser and DK for example where he's not that important in my regards to needing him, but just a random amiibo to add a bit more to the collection. Surely I'm not the only one here who occasionally gets amiibo they're not all excited for. (YOSHI SOLD)
- Ordered on Amazon. Amazon's been quite reliable in regards to online ordering where my package would come a few days or a week earlier than its expected arrival date. Unlike eBay which had me waiting what seemed like forever. Cheers, Amazon! I'll be sure to order another amiibo from you someday! ...if there aren't any BLOODY scalpers around, that is.
- I reserved one a few days ago before the day I got this. Toad might be rare in 'Murica, but that doesn't really seem to be the case on my end! When I got him, I also pre-ordered Charizard, the Splatoon triple pack and Mewtwo (couldn't pre-order Lucas as I was borrowing Mum's money at the time and all I had was $50). Yeah... over here, you can pre-order Mewtwo and Lucas amiibo, as well as Nintendo's next console: the NX. 2 days prior to getting him, I had an absolute crap day. I gained literally nothing and had my credit card swallowed up by the credit card bank machine just for getting my PIN number wrong a few times as I was checking my savings.
- Ordered on Amazon. Unlike Sonic, I got this 4 days before its expect arrival date instead of like a week which I think it normally does. I dunno, this one felt kinda late in terms of earliness. At least I got him! With a Pac-Man amiibo pre-order secured, I have the 3 third party characters in my collection!
,& - My first Smash series amiibo pre-orders, I guess. If there's any amiibo you want badly, be sure to pre-order the day (or day after) they're announced! However, I pre-ordered Wario a few days after as I wasn't that interested in him at the time.
& - Some restocks for Ozzies that included Meta Knight, Ike, Sonic and I think Marth. I was originally gonna get only Meta Knight, but seeing as Ike was the last one in stock (just like Marth when I got him back in Februrary), I got him anyway. Jeez, it makes me feel dumb for not pre-ordering Robin and Lucina, then it'd be the whole Fire Emblem collection. 
- Well, this was a lucky catch! When I went to pre-order Silver Mario, apparently some people haven't picked up their pre-orders in a while so therefore their pre-ordered content can be bought by other customers. Charizard happened to be one of them!
,,&(Silver Mario) - My biggest amiibo haul yet.
,& - That's 3 rares down! Why couldn't you spare me a Wii Fit Trainer, EB? I was so CLOSE to completing the holy trinity of Marth, Villager and WFT.
&  - That's right... I have THE Golden Mario in my collection. Even though the amiibo craze isn't so rabid on my end, I saw like 6-7 people waiting for Target to open and as soon as it did, everyone came rushing in like bloodthirsty hounds. Obviously I wasn't first in line, but I still got mine, which is all that matters. Take THAT, scalpers! Also sold&with the former being replaced by the Yarn Yoshi. I was recently at Big W and saw some amiibo for $10, even a Mario series Bowser which looks better than the Smash variant in my opinion. I could've got one that day, but I felt like saving my money that day.
,& - A lucky day for me! I was originally going down to pick up Rosalina but to my surprise, the friendly blokes down at EB Games managed to have a Wii Fit Trainer reserved for me, despite them running out about a few weeks ago! After I bought the two waif-- I mean girls, I had a look at the amiibo on the hangers. I was impressed that they had some rares in stock, such as Villager, Little Mac and Ness, I normally see commons such as some Mario series amiibo and Zelda. I looked down at the bottom and found another surprise - they had some Lucario! I jokingly scolded at one of the blokes for not telling me they had them in stock and held onto one for me. Originally I was going to get Rosalina (and WFT and Lucario, I guess) the day after which is when Wave 5 comes out, but I figured I best get things over and done with. It would've been like my 30/5/2015 session if that were the case, getting 6 amiibo in total. Now with Lucario in my possession, the Pokémon reps collection is complete!... for now... c'mon, Mewtwo! As for getting Rosalina... take THAT, mariotehplumber!
,,& - Hoo, boy... 7 amiibo in 2 days. I got Dark Pit, Palutena and Ganondorf at EB Games - I wasn't really into ZSS at the time  but I figured why the hell not since it's just one away from completing the wave. They didn't have any left and suggested I check out Target (which I was gonna do anyway) and got ZSS there. Damn, all this money I've spent... the Smash series is nearly over... it'll be all over soon... until more interesting amiibo come out.
& - 9 amiibo acquired within a week! Loving these restocks. Keep 'em comin', Nintendo! Don't go overboard... my wallet can only tolerate so much.
- 10 amiibo in a week?! Nintendo, please, give my wallet a break! Let it get some unemployment money in first! At least my looking-for amiibo list is closer to completion...
, & - With 3 more rares now in my collection, my Looking For list is complete, I'm really feeling it! With Wave 4 being my first wave regarding newly-released amiibo, I regretted not having gotten Robin and Lucina, but at least I gotten ones such as the Gamestop-murdering Ness. Poor 'Muricans.
,& - Similar to Wave 4 and 5, I had a hard time deciding whether if I should get the ones I really wanted or just get the wave over and done with... I went with the latter. My wallet, honestly... oh, and I unboxed Villager, Little Mac, Toon Link, Ganondorf and King Dedede. Not just so I have more room on my drawer, but since some of them aren't so rare anymore and some of them deserved to be freed from their boxed prison. Seriously, the past few times I stopped by EB Games, I saw a lot of Villagers. But jeez, I sometimes wish I had a first print Villager with the big eyes...
& - A Sheik restock came in, so I got her along with the common Zelda to complete the Zelda reps.
- Just happened to find one in stock on the day I decided to pick up Rare Replay for Xbox One.
&(Original Print) - I was just having a little chat with the lads at EB Games and found a Diddy Kong. But when I looked around at the pre-owned section, I found a pre-owned Villager. Not just any Villager, but one from the original November 2014 launch with the bigger eyes and slightly distorted mouth! Any reprinted characters looks pretty much the same except for Villager, now I have him in my collection... he was only $9! There are a couple of scrape parts on him like a tiny green stain under his right ear and some little scratches on the base, but overall it looks to be in fine condition; those two parts are only noticeable at very close inspection.
(8-Bit, Classic Colours variant) - I just love how they crafted a 2D pixelated sprite into a 3D figurine. Good stuff, Nintendo! Imagine if the Mr. Game & Watch amiibo was fully 3D and not semi-flat like it actually is.
,,&(Brawler, Sword Fighter and Gunner variants) - 6 amiibo in one day, just like the Splatoon Trio, Greninja, Jigglypuff and Silver Mario haul back in late May, another one of my biggest hauls yet. I was going to get a Smash series Luigi, but I figured why not save up a bit more money. I pretty much own all characters in the Smash series (including those still pre-ordered) except for Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser and Yoshi. Used to have Bowser of course, but that was before I thought about eventually owning the whole Smash collection.
&(8-Bit, Modern Colours variant) - Yay, another 8-Bit Mario, and MEWTWOOOOOOOO!!! So glad he came to the latest Smash after all these years. It's great owning the first ever DLC character in amiibo form. I always wondered what it's like if someone used an amiibo of a hidden character or DLC character that they didn't unlock in the game yet? Will that character still be used, only by the amiibo, or will it not work until you unlock the character that the amiibo represents?
- Welp...that's the last of the default roster. All I have left to collect aside from upcoming DLC characters Lucas, Roy, Ryu and Cloud are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser. How ironic that the only Mario series character I got is Rosalina, who was rare, but now the likes of Mario and Peach are never around on my end. They only have the Super Mario counterparts in stock, it's ridiculous! Here it's like many Rares are Common and some Commons are Rare/Unicorn rarity!
- Sorry I was so late to provide an updated photo showing him off. I took the photo, but laziness and PvZ: Garden Warfare 2 got the better of me. At least he's here now alongside the additions that came after him.
,&(Famicom) - Well, well...possibly my first time I've been late to picking up newly released amiibo. I think I'm kinda getting out of the amiibo craze (most of them being boxed probably shows that). That's kinda good for me as I don't wanna be spending on these things for much longer. Once Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta are out, that'll be the Smash series finally at an end.
